Welcome to Govinda Valley, a non for profit yogic community aspiring to live a simple, clean and spiritually fulfilled lifestyle. We send an equally warm invite to groups and individuals to book a stay with us. Our beautiful, spacious venue is perfect for group retreats and with our daily schedule of delicious vegan meals, yoga, workshops and kirtan, Govinda Valley is also the perfect place for your individual getaway.

Yoga - daily

5:15AM, 10:30AM & 4:30PM • 60 MINUTES

As a yogic community, we have an abundance of yoga teachers living and working with us. Their individual styles vary, but the overarching theme is one of balance, relaxation and alignment of body, mind and soul. Classes generally cater for beginners, but all teachers can give options for intermediate and advanced students - just approach them before class to let them know.  If these times do not suit you or you would like a one on one session we also have these avaliable.

VEGAN MEALS

8AM, 1PM AND 6PM

We take food seriously! Our kitchen prepares 3 meals/day for optimum health and vitality. All according to the principles of Ayurveda, the yogi's ancient science of health.

Kirtan - daily

6:30AM and 7:00PM• 60 MINUTES

Kirtan - a style of singing meditation - is one of our most joyous practices as yogis. Come along and join your voice with ours. What might seem unfamiliar in the beginning will soon prove to be a mindblowingly deep experience of pure joy and spiritual union. In this practice, it is not about having the best voice or the fanciest melody, but about finding our voice in Bhakti - the yoga of love and devotion.

WORKSHOPS

12:00PM • 60 MINUTES

Join us daily for inspiring health, wellness and philosophy workshops. Our teachers offer a variety of topics every week - from Tai Chi and Pranayama Breathwork, to Astrology, Mindfulness, Meditation and Life Coaching. Learn new skills, look at life from a different angle and gain a fresh perspective.

HEALING CENTRE - daily

BOOKINGS REQUIRED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE

Our Healing Centre is located at the very heart of our retreat space. Our experienced therapists and healers are here to take you to a place of total bliss in our peaceful centre. They offer you the opportunity to further unwind and relax during your time here, whether it is Reiki healing, massage therapy or astrology you are seeking.
