Govinda Valley are delighted to be participating again this year in the National Trust Heritage Festival. The Festival is an opportunity to reflect on the places where we live, work, and travel, and why they are special. The theme of the festival this year is 'My Culture, My Story'.
On Tuesday 15th May, Govinda Valley invite you to come down to the centre to meet and hear stories from descendants of pinoneer settlers from Northern Illawarra.
By coming down and sharing this day, you can learn and connect with people from Otford, Stanwell Park and Helensburgh Region. You are also welcome to explore our Bush Tucker Trail where you can learn all about native Australian plants. A delicious onsite lunch is also available!
The festival runs every day from Wednesday 18th April - Sunday 20th May. We have a drop in hour everyday from 11am-12pm where you can visit the exhibition stand, read the material we have on site and ask any questions you may have. Please do call beforehand if you are going to pop in so we can be sure to have someone available!
For more information or to RSVP:
Cost: FREE EVENT
Optional lunch: $10 - must be pre-booked, pay cash on the day
If you would like to share your Culture or Story; sing, dance, act, perform, we still have spaces available so please do get in touch, we would love to hear from you!
We look forward to seeing you there!
